Pink Petticoat Pretty Petals Competition

Well I have finally managed to get my entries finished and sent off with just a couple of days until the deadline. I do like to leave things until the last minute!!!! The competition details can be found here but basically you could enter up to 3 cards/papercrafted items using at least one item on each that has been purchased from Pink Petticoat, as I already own most of the things on there it really wasn't difficult to find some gorgeous papers to use. What was difficult was deciding what to make and that is why it has taken me an age to finally get everything sorted out. So here goes with my entries -
The first is my flower photo frame, I saw this tutorial on Docrafts website for the flowers and just had to have a try. The photo frame was just a basic frame from B&M and cost 50p, I covered it in papers from the Wild Blossoms kit from Pink Petticoat and then glued on the flowers, I wasn't sure what to put in it with it being an entry for a competition, it didn't seem right putting a personal photo in so I went for a quote about flowers. I made 3 of these frames and gave 2 away for Mothers Day.

My second entry is this mini maze book which again I got the idea from a tutorial on Docrafts. I used some papers from the Lifes Lemons freebie kit on Pink Petticoat and also some of the papers from the colour collection, the recipies and lemon tips were sourced from various websites.

My last entry is a remake of a card I made last year and I kept it exactly the same as I love it just the way it is, the papers are from the sweet sundaes kit from Pink Petticoat, I didn't use a template I just played around until I got the effect I was looking for, it is highlighted with extra fine glitter stuck on with a quickie glue pen.

Well thank you for looking, I hope you like them and keep your fingers crossed for me for the competition.
